API usage shares your credits

API transcription is measured per started audio minute and speech per started 1,000 Unicode characters. Administrators set the credit rate for each active route. See the current rates in your API settings before sending requests.

Questions

What counts as a minute?: Audio duration processed by transcription — live or uploaded — billed in whole minutes.
Do unused credits expire?: Purchased extra minutes stay until used. Subscription minutes reset on each paid billing cycle and unused cycle minutes do not roll over.
Can I cancel a subscription?: Yes. Open Account → Billing and manage your subscription in the Stripe portal. Cancellation stops future renewal; the displayed paid period remains in effect.
